Films is seeking two more male actors, playable age
20 - 27. The script is available upon request.
Shooting dates are August 13th - 20th in Pocono Lake
(zip code 18347). Payment is $100 for the week plus
food and a place to stay if coming from out of town.
There are also a few unpaid one day roles for both
males and females. We are looking to replace two
actors that have dropped out, we do not have the time
to go through the audition process again so we are
looking for actors that can submit demo reels
(digital or hard copies are fine). Please contact

2:00pm – 4:00pm.

This will be a low budget, independent short film so the roles are unpaid, but completed DVDs will be given to cast and crew for your resume and reel.
The film is tentatively titled “The Dinner Date” and will be shot sometime in late September or early October over a two day period (Saturday/Sunday). The roles are as follows:
Lead roles:
Chad (25) - Just moved into the neighborhood. A bit timid, but curious. Coming off of a recent breakup with his girlfriend and ready to start a new life. A freelance writer, he’s always keeping his eyes open for new and interesting things.
Mr. Jenson (60) – Chad’s quirky next-door neighbor. Mysterious and odd.
Support roles:
Annie Mea (40) – Chad’s “festively plump” next-door neighbor. The neighborhood gossip, always watching.
Smith (20’s) – Chad’s co-worker. Wiseguy, always looking to crack a joke.
Bit parts:

his village that have succumbed to Aids. Sekani looses all hope until a
young girl comes to his aid.

nightmare that surrounds his family.

alive as long as possible to see to that her children learn to survive on
their own.
MALIK: (Supporting Role) African or African American Man. Ages 50-65.
Slender body. Malik has seen his village go from bad to worst. He runs the
grave yard, and he teaches Sekani how to be an efficient grave digger.
DR. BENJAMIN: (Supporting Role) OPEN ETHNICITY, he is the only doctor in a
small African Hospice who struggles to attend to hundreds of patients that
are dying of Aids.
What: Independent film makers with a fully developed screen play. We
believe it is a compelling human drama, that will be well received and make
a difference. Everyone that comes on board will have fun making this
project, and will be very proud of their involvement.

Connie, any ethnicity, 20s - 30s. She is pretty and has a phony, upbeat exterior, but she is actually very cynical under the surface. Connie is the co-host of a morning talk show called "Good Morning Seattle" with the character Del. On the show, she gushes over her guest Sandy----but she really thinks that Sandy is a complete bitch. Sandy, any ethnicity, Mid 30s - 40s. She is an attractive woman, and she is married to a Treasury Department agent named Harry. Sandy is a successful children's book author. At first glance she is very lovey-dovey with her husband, and Sandy seems sad that she must take off on an extensive tour to promote her latest book. However, behind the scenes, she's also having a hot affair and is just about to serve her husband with divorce papers. LEAD ROLE MALES
Bogus Terikhian, any ethnicity, Mid 20s - 30s. This ostentatious, flashy, expensively-dressed attorney is the high-priced expert whom Katie Cox (played by Frances McDormand) has hired to handle her divorce. He's glib and slick, he encourages Katie to "spy" on her husband and discover his assets, so that they can freeze the accounts and take Osbourne Cox for everything he is worth. Plastic Surgeon, any ethnicity, 30s - 40s. This high-priced, smooth-talking plastic surgeon meets with the eager Linda Litzke to discuss a series of expensive procedures that she is planning on having. Del (Process Server), any ethnicity, 30s - 40s. Pretending to be Osbourne Cox's old Princeton classmate, this man catches Osbourne off guard and proceeds to serve him with divorce papers Palmer Debakey Smith, Caucasian, 50s. A distinguished silver-haired man, he's Osbourne's boss at the CIA, who calls Osbourne into his office and tells him that he's been demoted----which prompts the outraged Osbourne to quit on the spot. Later, Palmer reports to his boss about the turmoil surrounding their recently dismissed agent----but the bodies are piling up and answers are in short supply. LEAD ROLE Gardner Chubb, Caucasian, 50s - 60s. He is Palmer's boss. He's another silver-haired honcho at the CIA. Palmer reports to him about the mysterious events surrounding their recently dismissed agent, Osbourne. Gardner is trying his best to do damage control on the deadly string of disasters----but he really has no idea what the hell is going on. LEAD ROLE Krapotkin, Caucasian, 60s. An assistant cultural attache' at the Russian embassy. He's a 60ish Russian functionary "with the beetle-browed sphynxlike look of the Brezhnev-era bureaucrat." He's taken aback when Linda and Chad approach him with an unusual proposition. Russian Man, Caucasian, 40s - 50s. This Russian embassy worker in a suit asks Linda and Chad to accompany him to see another man at the embassy
