Logline:
During the night, a homeless boy (nicknamed Rat) becomes trapped within the machinery space of a ship pressed to leave port at dawn. The ships officers choose not delay to their departure. The only other people aware of the boys fate are a small number of the similarly destitute who live along the waterfront.
